The Most Wonderful Time of the Year

9 May

Besides the holidays, that is.

I’m so thrilled to report that I’m taking a much-needed week off work to relax and smell the flowers—literally! The Huntington‘s botanical gardens are definitely on my to-do list.  I’m contemplating dressing Oscar up as a service dog to smuggle him in. Do you think we can pull it off? 😉

Even though Oscar’s not allowed in The Huntington, that doesn’t mean he can’t have in on the fun! I’m planning frequent park escapades and a trip to Three Dog Bakery! Hopefully Oscar’s cute enough to solicit a free sample.

Here’s what happened when he heard the news, comic strip-style:

It’s really too bad Oscar can’t be in any of the pictures at The Huntington, but hopefully pictures of him at Three Dog Bakery will make up for it. 😀

Cute pictures! Oscar looks quite studious in the second picture. He must be thinking about how to get that free sample. Have a nice week off!

Good gravy those pictures are adorable!!! You can just see his emotions in each one, and they really do make up a comic-book reaction. Love it! 🙂

Oscar looks irresistibly goofy in the last photo! LOL 😀

I’ve never visited The Huntington before, but a quick check of its website tells me that I should—library, art gallery, and botanical gardens all rolled up into one. That’s my kind of hangout place.

Enjoy your week off spending quality time with your little one 😀
