I fibbed regarding the title… I can’t coax Oscar to step on the scale.
Although the title is a bit misleading, it perfectly captures the essence of today’s post: documenting Oscar’s weight loss progress!
Since we couldn’t use the scale to gauge his progression, we turned to the camera to chronicle the subtle transformation his body is going through thanks to the lifestyle changes we made two months ago. We’re hoping you can see the difference in Oscar’s physique like we do!
Before: I chuckle over this picture because he looks like a cute Jabba the Hut (LOL).
After: Almost Chippendales ready!
Oscar appreciates the comments our blogging friends have made regarding his new, slender body. Your encouraging words only make him work harder!

Oh yeah—I think it’s safe to assume Oscar feels fantastic! He has more endurance and can walk farther distances compared to when he was carrying extra “love.”
He still has more weight to lose, but we’re proud of his progress. 🙂

Looking great. Roxy had to lose a pound this last couple of months. I was giving her salmon oil, thinking it would be good for her coat and maybe her joints. The vet said no way. 1 pound on these little dogs is a lot.
Just out of curiosity, why did the vet frown on salmon oil?

Wow, this is tremendous progress! You ought to be very proud of yourself for keeping Oscar on his paws. He is looking trimmer by the day. The Chippendales better get their act ready for Oscar 😉
